On July 9, 2009 Cazenovia Lake was surveyed to observe the efficacy of the Renovate (a.i. triclopyr) treatment that took place four weeks earlier. During an earlier survey that was done approximately two weeks after application, the Eurasian watermilfoil (Myriophyllum spicatum) was found bent over and lying down on the bottom of the lake.
