Join the fun as The September Trio performs in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 7 pm.
Music lovers will not want to miss this elegant presentation of Broadway show tunes and light classics. Comprised of three accomplished musicians from the Central New York area, this group features Jane Maher, soprano; Robert Gerbin, baritone; and Catharine McGrath, pianist.
Maher has performed with the Liederverein, Berwalk Singers, Liverpool Community Chorus, DeWitt Choraleers, and musical theater troupes as well as other local venues.
While in the Navy, Gerbin became a member of the Blue Jackets Chorus, and later at Colgate University he sang in the Glee Club for four years. Currently he’s a regular performer in senior theater troupes as well as with the DeWitt Choraleers.
In addition to accompanying soloist, McGrath has accompanied the choirs at Nottingham High School, the Syracuse University Men’s Glee Club, and the Music Men as well as the Syracuse University Chorus, Hendricks Chapel Choir, Syracuse Chorale, Syracuse University Oratorio Society, and DeWitt Community Church Choir.
This performance, a sure crowd-pleaser, is sponsored by the Friends. All are welcome. For more information, call 655-9322 or visit www.midyork.org/cazenovia.
