          Google executive Dan Riecher, an energy and environmental policy expert who was a leading contender to become U.S. Secretary of Energy earlier this year, will speak on the challenges of reversing global climate change at the Cazenovia Forum on Friday, October 9 at 7 pm at the Catherine Cummings Theatre, 9 Lincklaen St. in Cazenovia.  The event is free and no reservations or tickets are required.

An open forum will be held on July 29th at 6:30 p.m. at St. James Church at 6 Green Street, Cazenovia. Sponsored by the Greater Cazenovia Chamber of Commerce and Cazenovia Area Senior Association, the purpose of the forum is to hear the public’s views about senior housing in the greater Cazenovia area. Asterhill Inc. will present data from its Market and Feasibility Study, such as the overall purpose of the study, a demographic profile and the projected demand for senior housing and services. The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend and let their important voices be heard.

      The League of Women Voters of Cazenovia is holding a forum for candidates for Village Trustee on Tuesday, June 9 at 7 p.m. in the Cazenovia Municipal Building on Albany Street.  The public is urged to attend to hear the candidates’ views on issues affecting the Village of Cazenovia.
