Collectibles come in faster than they go out on Albany Street

Yesterday Market and Boutique
The Yesterday Market and Boutique at 55 Albany St. in Cazenovia sells vintage clothing and accessories, period and retro furniture, fine art, 20th century art, various merchandise and practical luxuries. Proprietor Frank DiOrio would offer more but there just isn’t any room on his business card or in his shop.

“I have too much stuff and we’re about to have a big sale, an inventory reduction sale,” DiOrio said.
Yesterday is no typical antique shop.
“We offer vintage dresses for prom night,” the store owner said.
DiOrio first started selling in a flea market and obtained his antique dealership tax number in 1976.
“Business was phenomenal,” he said. “Back in the 70s the economy was good.”
Among the inventory were a set of early American Windsor chairs from the late 1700s. He also had a wooden stand fro 1810 with inlaid decoration in Hepplewhite style going for $895.
“I also conduct appraisals and estate and household sales,” DiOrio said.
To describe the Yesterday Market would be a disservice, but if it fits, it’s in there.
